You can claim 25 per cent on the total cost of your entertainment experience when you spend $40 or more.
This means if you spend $80 on entertainment you can get $20 cash back. You can make multiple claims for dining and entertainment until you reach a total of $125 cash back.
Alternatively, if you spend $500 (or more) in a single purchase on dining or entertainment, you can claim the total $125 cash back by uploading the one receipt.

Entertainment that is covered includes:

events and festivals (not including sporting events)

cinemas

exhibitions and conferences

museums, galleries and zoos

live performances, including theatre, music, comedy, literary events and fashion shows

amusement parks, arcades, water parks, theme parks, tourist ferries and trains, mini golf and go-kart venues.
The program is available on a first come, first served basis until funds are exhausted or by 11:59pm Friday 16 December 2022.
You can make multiple claims for dining and entertainment until you reach the combined maximum cash back of $125.
The following are not covered by the Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program:

gift cards and vouchers

sport and sporting events including entry to sporting facilities, season passes, sport classes, personal fitness and any sport events

gaming including entertainment at gaming venues, casinos and gambling

transport costs

ticket resales.
You must get proof of purchase that includes business name, purchase date, items purchased and transaction total. A confirmation email could be accepted as proof of purchase if it shows the business name, purchase date, items purchased and transaction total.
