After months in isolation, no doubt Premier Daniel Andrews’ announcement this week that the government will be dolling out 120,000 $200 vouchers to Victorians to stimulate tourism and regional business is music to the ears of the many Aussies.

The vouchers, which can be claimed when you spend $400 on accommodation, attractions or tours in regional Victoria, are expected to become available in time for the Christmas holidays in just a few weeks — and we have just the intrastate inspiration to help those unsure of how to spend it.

“What makes Victoria so special is the creative, entrepreneurial, passionate people behind our tourism businesses,” says Visit Victoria CEO Brendan McClements, who just launched a ‘Stay Close, Go Further’ recovery campaign to encourage Victorians to support local operators who’ve suffered throughout the bushfires and pandemic.
